Mexico "1715 Fleet" 4 Reales, dated 1715.
Mexico Mint: 4 Reales. 1715 "J"
1715 Fleet Series
Ideal for Bullion, pendants and other jewelry uses.
Traditional and Bullion options. A great gift for the 1715 Fleet collector.
These coins are not cast copies, they are all hammer struck from steel dies that were traditionally hand-sunk, using hand-carved punches, exactly like the originals. They were made using real coins as examples, so that the details are identical to the originals. This allows for a unique replica that, like the originals, no two are ever exactly the same in shape, size or strike.
This 4 reales coin is modeled after a Mexico City mint, 1715 dated "new neat type" design that was introduced in 1714 . The originals are very scarce from the 1715 Fleet with this date.
Since these coins are hammer struck, no two look exactly the same in shape or strike.Like the originals each reproduction is totally unique to you. If you prefer a specific die orientation. Please leave it in your notes at check out.
Example: Die Axes UP/UP. Or Full date and denomination visible.
