Dedicated reproduction of the infamous first colonial silver coin of America.
Large Planchet.
A simple design, with "šš„" on the obverse for New England, and "š—šˆšˆ" for 12 Pence on the reverse. Each element at 12 o'clock.

Just smaller than a modern half dollar.

4.72 - 4.78 grams (traditional Weight)

These coins have a very simple, but important and famous design. They were the very first coins struck in the continental United States (originally struck in Boston Massachusettes), and the only coin of the series to have actually been struck in 1652 (unlike the later, dated "tree" issues, which came later).

We also have the 3 and 6 pence coins to compliment the shilling (12P), or you can simply order the whole set.
